DANCES THIS WEEK:
Beginner & intermediates alike
will enjoy this weeks dance called
"LAID BACK
N LOW KEY"
which goes to the song by the same name by Alan Jackson. Our
higher levels will be learning
"RUBBED IN" and also by
request this week, we will be re-teaching
CHILL FACTOR
for all of you who didn't get it the first time around. Last week
we reviewed "WAVE ON WAVE"
and people enjoyed it so much, we did it 3 times! Another request
I have had, is for OPIE STOMP,
which is done to Good Brown Gravy, so we'll go over that next week.
Keep the requests coming, that's what it's all about.....
HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING!
It's now only
19
days until Dancing For Dollars. As of today, I have
56
people signed up, with more entry forms coming in every day. I got
an anonymous donation yesterday of
$500.
which gets us off to a great start! And, this year, many more
people are getting pledges instead of just paying the entry fee.
If you have not signed up, it's never too late! I have ordered
extra T-shirts, but even if you are too late to get one, come on out and
join us!
Special dance this week! I
was able to rent our favorite location, N. Olmsted Community Cabin on
Wed this week, May 7'th, and will be hosting an open dance night.
Starting at 7, I will give a 1 hour lesson, followed by all your
favorites, until 10, or until we drop. Cost is $7.
Hope to see everyone there.
For the next couple of Sundays, we
will be winding down our Sunday classes by going over the popular dances
done in the clubs. If there is a bar dance that you haven't
learned yet, come on out and join us. Sunday classes will be
over for the summer soon, check the schedule page to find out what other
options are available for the summer.

ACES DANCE CLASS JULY 25'th, 2007

$5,000.
Yes,
you are reading that correctly! After all your donations and
pledges were counted up, we came out with a little over $5,000 to donate
to the Cleveland Domestic Violence Center! Your response was
overwhelming this year. There was a total of
95
of you on the dance floor! As I have said before, when we all pull
together, the results can be fantastic. Thanks to each and every
one of you for making this day such a BIG success! We had Julia
who came straight from the airport to join us, Lucy & her family drove
straight from a long day in Columbus to dance with us, my Akron friends
drove in, our new friends from the Rainbow Wrangler dance group came out
to show their support, it was all truly overwhelming! Special
thanks to our anonymous donor for her $500. donation....you are a
very special friend!

Hard to get 95 people in one spot all at
once, here are most of us!
