DANCES THIS WEEK:
For the next
two weeks, at our Tues. & Wed. classes we will be having dance parties,
we will be reviewing and practicing our dances that we have learned over
the summer. I will then take my annual 2 week break, and classes will
resume mid-Sept.
NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS
The new fall schedule is slowing
coming together! I also have been working on several new dances
for us for fall! If you would like to receive the new
schedule by e-mail, once it's done, ask to be included on my weekly

Yesterday ( July 10) a group of us
went down to Canton for Frank Traces annual dance party. Without a
doubt, it was one of the best times I have had in a while. If you
missed it, it was your loss! I would guess there were 400 people
there, and most of them dancing! Already looking forward to next
year!
Our May 16th 4'th annual
benefit for the Cleveland Domestic Violence Center was a success! We had a record
crowd, and we had people from all over the state attending, THANK YOU!
Our totals were a little down this year, $4,300 but considering the bad
economy, we did an awesome job! Special thanks to Frank Trace, for
sharing some of his new dances with us!
April 17'th, was Dancing For A Cure down
in Columbus, and what a fantastic day we had! There were 9 of you
from Cleveland who made the trip down, and I met a great group who had
come down from Canton, plus another local dance teacher and group.
We all stuck in out the whole 4 hours, and my feet are still singing the
blues today!
Here we are down in Columbus, as you
can see, everyone seemed to want to be in the back?
Thanks to all who made our Christmas
party such a success! The homemade goodies were awesome, we even
took time out for a little dancing in between all the snacking!
Friday found a group of us downtown at
the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame at 6:45 ( yes that was A.M.) for a special
Fox 8 did on Caliber. Although the dancers did not receive much
air time ( don't blink if you watch it) we all had such a good time!

While most of us were happy to wear a
flowered shirt & lei to our Luau line dance party, some of our
guests went all out ( see below) what a great time and GREAT
crowd, there were 54
of you!
$ 6,782. SPELLS SUCCESS!
Our total for the domestic violence fundraiser continues to grow
higher even thought the dancing is over! Thanks to those of you
who were unable to attend, but have sent me a check.......who knows how
high our final total will be?

Here they are, the Westlake All Stars!
Pictured here is one of my new
classes that I am doing for employees through the Strategic Capital
Advisors/Medical Mutual program. Every 6 weeks I am sent to a new
location ( Fairview above) as part of their wellness program. I am
enjoying all the new people I am meeting.
This fall, I am excited to be invited
to be part of the team of Strategic Capitol Advisors/ Medical Mutual, as
they launch their wellness program to area school employees. I
will be teaching at Olmsted Falls, Rocky River, Avon, Amherst, and
Fairview Park on a rotating basis. This program is only open to
employees of these schools, and it is such an excellent concept of which
I am proud to be a part of! I look forward to a long working
relationship with this group.
